Cold Stone Creamery’s Frozen Yogurt Creations and Yogurt Shakes. You MUST!

Strawberry Crumble Vanilla Frozen Yogurt: that’s what I sank my teeths into. (side note: “teeths” is plural for “teef”) Their Yogurt Creations and Yogurt Shakes came out in Feb 2012, but I hear only for a limited time. Don’t ya hate feeling limited ‘n stuff?

You better high tail your booty cheeks on over to the Creamery so you can indulge in a treat that’s delectable and tasty, yet downright sensible. I was NOT a Cold Stone fan until I tasted these new yogurt-thingies. Now I’m going back for more. They better get ready to feed me on repeat.

Yogurt Creations

Strawberry Crumble: Dreamy Vanilla Yogurt mixed with juicy Strawberries and Graham Cracker Pie CrustChocolate Banana Indulgence: Gratifying Chocolate Yogurt mixed with fresh Bananas and rich FudgeBerries Upon Berries: Luscious Raspberry Yogurt mixed with sweet Strawberries and Blueberries

Yogurt Shakes

Shake Them Berries: Divine Vanilla Yogurt blended with sweet, juicy Strawberries, Raspberries and BlueberriesPowered By Chocolate: Enticing Chocolate Yogurt blended with rich Fudge

The breakdown of my Strawberry Crumble Creation went like this:

Vanilla Frozen Yogurt: 170 calories (size small)Graham Cracker Pie Crust Crumbles mix-in: 180 caloriesStrawberries mix-in: 20 calories

My stomachs took in 370 calories of dessert-lovin’ delight. If you pick the same one I did, you can always ask the creations-maker to go easy on the graham crumbles to reduce the calorie count, but hell naw if I’m doing that.

See Cold Stone’s Frozen Yogurt Nutrition info and Cold Stone’s Mix-ins Nutrition info so you can tally your calorie (…hey, that rhymes) before you get there. And don’t you go ordering size large unless you are the infamous Dark Overlord of Greediness. You heard of ‘em?

Weight Watchers SmartOnes Artisan Creations Chicken Marinara with Mozzarella Cheese Grilled Flatbread Review

Weight Watchers SmartOnes Artisan Creations Chicken Marinara with Mozzarella Cheese Grilled Flatbread

Weight Watchers SmartOnes Artisan Creations Chicken Marinara with Mozzarella Cheese Grilled Flatbread is described on the box as, "grilled white meat chicken, fire-roasted bell peppers and onions, reduced fat mozzarella cheese with marinara sauce on a flatbread." Well, it looked appetizing, and so I decided to try it for lunch.

NUTRITION FACTS
Serving Size: 1 flatbread (170 grams)
Calories: 290
Total Fat: 6 grams, 9%
Saturated Fat: 1.5 grams, 7%
Sodium: 640 mg, 27%
Carbohydrates: 41 grams
Fiber: 3 grams, 10%
Sugars: 7 grams
Protein: 18 grams

I haven't been disappointed with a Weight Watchers SmartOnes Artisan Creations meal yet - having enjoyed the Stone Fired Pepperoni Crust Pizza (Review) and Southwestern Style Chicken Fiesta Grilled Flatbread (Review) - and this entree lived up to my expectations. WW really hit on a winning combination with a slightly sweet marinara sauce and the roasted bell peppers which I think was the star of the show - but the sauce was a close second. The chicken chunks were plentiful as well, but I think WW could make a delicious non-meat version of this as well (if they haven't done so already). I really enjoyed this for lunch, and it was $2.50 well spent.

Each Weight Watchers SmartOnes Artisan Creations Chicken Marinara with Mozzarella Cheese Grilled Flatbread provides 290 calories, from 6 grams of total fat (9% of the daily value for saturated fat), 1.5 grams of saturated fat (7% of the DV), 640 mg sodium (27% of the DV), 3 grams of fiber (10% of the the DV), 7 grams of sugars and 18 grams of protein. It's also has 7 PointsPlus value. The ingredients list isn't exactly "natural" in fact, if you're not into chemical-sounding names, you probably won't be a fan of this.

As I mentioned before, I purchased this meal for $2.50, and would certainly buy it again. It's really tasty, has less than 300 calories, and a generous amount of protein.

Imagine Natural Creations Organic Creamy Sweet Potato Soup Review

Imagine Natural Creations Organic Creamy Sweet Potato Soup

Have you ever had sweet potato soup? I haven't, although I do like putting sweet potatoes IN soups. well, I decided to be adventurous and give Imagine Natural Creations Organic Creamy Sweet Potato Soup a try. This soup is organic, all natural, vegetarian, plus dairy-, gluten- and preservative- free.

NUTRITION FACTS
Serving Size: 8 ounces
Calories: 110
Total Fat: 1 gram, 2%
Saturated Fat: 0%
Sodium: 460 mg, 19%
Carbohydrates: 28 grams
Fiber: 3 grams, 12%
Sugar: 3 grams
Protein: 2 grams

I poured some out into a pot, and saw a thick, rich, creamy orange soup. I heated this on the stove-top for a few minutes, and the soup got a little less thick. When it had cooled off some, it was time for the taste- test. It turned out that the soup wasn't as sweet as I thought it would be, but neither was it good. There wasn't much flavor and it didn't win me over to being a fan of sweet soups. I would definitely use Imagine Sweet Potato Soup as a puree in other dishes, but wouldn't drink it as a soup.

Each 8 ounce serving provides 110 calories, a low 1gram of total fat, none of which is saturated, 460 mg of sodium (19% of the daily value), 3 grams of fiber (12% of the DV), 3 grams of sugars and 2 grams of protein, plus a whopping 190% of the daily value for vitamin A.

The ingredients list includes, filtered water, organic sweet potatoes, organic potatoes, organic rice syrup, organic carrots, sea salt, organic expeller pressed safflower oil and/ or sunflower oil and/ or canola oil, organic ginger.

A 32 ounce box of Imagine Natural Creations Organic Creamy Sweet Potato Soup cost me $3.49, and I don't consider it a total waste as I can use this in other ways ... just not as a soup. Imagine has a lot of "creative" varietis in their repertoire, so if you're tired of the "same old same old" then why not try their Acorn Squash & Mango, Corn & LemonGrass, Cuban Black Bean, or Creamy Sweet Pea Soups? I'll be honest - some of those flavors scare me a little ... but I'm still willing to give them a chance.

Weight Watchers Smart Ones Artisan Creations Stone Fired Crust Pizza (Pepperoni)

Weight Watchers Smart Ones Artisan Creations Pepperoni Stone Fired Crust Pizza

I've actually only had one Weight Watchers Smart Ones pizza before, Weight Watchers Smart Ones Four Cheese Pizza, and it was just average. But I am a huge fan of single serving pizzas - you eat it, there's no left-overs and thus no temptation - so I decided to try another variety and opted for the Weight Watchers Smart Ones Artisan Creations Pepperoni Stone Fired Crust Pizza - yes, long name.

NUTRITION FACTS
Serving Size: 173
Calories: 390
Total Fat: 8 grams, 13%
Saturated Fat: 3 grams, 15%
Sodium: 730 mg, 30%
Carbohydrates: 58 grams
Fiber: 4 grams, 17%
Sugars: 7 grams
Protein: 20 grams

I have to say that after I microwaved this, the pizza looked absolutely delightful. Large pepperoni slices covered the entire pizza, and it looked sufficiently cheesy. I bit into it and discovered that it was very tasty as well. The pepperoni was slightly spicy and the tomato sauce was just enough - I do not like tomato sauce dripping off my pizza and overwhelming the entire thing. The crust was not exactly crispy, but it was good enough for me. I think if I had opted to put this in the toaster oven it would have improved that aspect.

The entire pizza is one serving (thank goodness), and provides 390 calories, 8 grams of total fat which includes 3 grams of saturated fat (13% and 15% of the daily value), 730 mg (a whopping 30% of the DV), 4 grams of fiber, 7 grams of sugars and 20 grams of protein.

The ingredients list is not surprisingly lengthy, but it actually has mostly what you expect to find. I paid $2.50 for this and it was excellent as a filling lunch. For dinner, I would probably add a side of my favorite veggies to make this more satisfying. Another plus is that Weight Watchers Smart Ones meals go on sale regularly, making it even more cost effective.
