Kashi Berry Fruitful Cereal

Kashi Berry Fruitful Cereal is described as a cereal of "organic whole wheat biscuits with filling made with real fruit." Or as I like to say - a shredded wheat type cereal.

Firstly, I love shredded wheat cereal in general because not only are they usually a hearty cereal, but they make a tasty snack as well. Secondly, I loved THIS cereal in particular. What a fantastic idea to have a fruit filling on the inside of the biscuits of Kashi Berry Fruitful for that added pop of sweetness. But watch out, this cereal soaks up milk, so be sure to eat it quickly less it gets too soggy. And let me add - this is a WHEAT cereal - I mean, one look at it, and you can see that, so expect it to taste like regular shredded wheat with a little pop of sweetness - it doesn't have any powdery sugar coating on the outside, thankfully so, and it doesn't have any "wheaty/ fibrous" taste - again, thankfully so.

Each serving of about 29 biscuits of Kashi Berry Fruitful Cereal provides 170 calories, very little fat, no sodium, 8 grams of sugars, 6 grams of fiber (23% of the daily value) and 6 grams of protein. The ingredients list shows organic whole grain wheat, organic evaporated cane juice, organic concord grape juice concentrate, organic inverted evaporated cane juice, organic corn starch, organic apple powder, vegetable glycerin, organic red raspberry puree concentrate, organic strawberry puree concentrate.

I purchased a 442 gram box of Kashi Berry Fruitful Cereal for a little less than $3.00 and would happily buy this again.
