More Hours Please

I’m having a rough day. The Husband and I are out of sync which sucks because we had such an awesome weekend. I’ve been having technical problems holding me back from accomplishing a few things. And the conference is really starting to ramp up with new (fun but stressful) things happening daily.

I can’t seem to catch up and things just. keep. getting. piled. on.

*deep breath*

I don’t want to admit it but attempting to get anything done at home with this little guy is proving almost impossible anymore.

Little Bean

He’s lucky he’s so darn cute!

I kid but I find myself yet again torn between working and just hanging out with Little Bean. I feel so lucky and so grateful to be home with him but I’m not getting what I need to get done. Sometimes It takes me days if not weeks to get back to emails and frankly, I feel like I’m working around the clock. (side note: so is the husband, hence our disconnect. :(

I even missed my workout this morning. First time in months that has happened but I couldn’t wake up even though I went to bed early.

I’m tired.

This month Bean will be starting day care twice a week and I’m again struggling with guilt.

Guilt that I’m shipping him off and I’ll be home.

Guilt that it costs so much.

Guilt that I just can’t manage it.

There it is.

I’m mad at my self for not being able to do it all.

Typical. huh?

In other news…

YAY for Extra Hours!

LOVED the extra hour today, but now I’m REALLY exhausted. Here’s my Sensational Sunday real quick.

A quick breakfast before my race…

I registered for a local 5k. It was at a park about a mile away. My plan was to run there, run and then run home. YES I know I’m crazy. Sometimes I STILL don’t know who I am.

I ROCKED the race. By far my best time in over a year.

The official results: 28:46 that’s a 9:17 average mile! My jaw almost hit the ground!

I got back just in time for Candy Land.

After getting smoked by a 6 year old, I headed to the kitchen and perfected the Red Pepper Soup.

It is DELICIOUS! I’ll do my best to post the recipe on GreenLiteBites tomorrow. In the meantime check out my latest grilled sandwich idea which will go GREAT on the side! UPDATE: The recipe for Red Pepper Soup with Roasted Spaghetti Squash has been posted. Click here!

Anyway, the boys then played while I forged ahead with the laundry.

Someone is AWFULLY close to crawling! Can you see it? Click here for a better pic.

The Husband said, and I quote, "You keep the laundry going, I’ll fold it."

Ummmm yeah. lol

Instead of folding (cause there’s no way I was doing that) I made a snack. Frozen blueberries with a cup of Blueberry Greek Yogurt.

Irish didn’t know what to make of it.

Little guy and I set up his car track. (side note: This makes a great chrsitmas gift! It’s called… Mindscope Tracks

We love shutting off the lights and letting it run.

It was so beautiful outside, there was no way we were staying in the house all day. I decided to take the boys on a hike while Dad got some work done.

Both Little Guy and I brought our camera. The next few shots are from him….

And a couple from me….

We came home, had a snack, and

cleaned up.

Well, one room at least.

Soon it was dinner time and even though I had something planned I was outvoted. We ended up going out with friends.

The pictures of my dinner didn’t come out, but this one HAD to be shared. ;)

We came home and finished cleaning.

and I now I’m ready for bed!

‘night!

The Instinctive Weight Loss System - New, Groundbreaking Weight Loss Product- 7 CD's, Over 7 hours of Hypnosis for Weight Loss and Mind Reconditioning Sold in Over 40 Countries WorldwideThe Instinctive Weight Loss System comes in a 7 CD Pack, in addition to the preloaded audio player. These 7 CDs contain 7 hours of Hypnosis, NLP, and Instinctive Training that helps produce automatic weight loss.
Damien Young, a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Sports Nutritionist, and Personal Fitness Trainer eloquently relays groundbreaking, new information that can't be found anywhere. This insightful 7 hours of information can and will change the lives of anyone who needs or wants to lose weight. By reconditioning the subconscious mind, one can achieve weight loss that's automatic. Losing weight without thinking about it has been the goal of scientists, dieticians, psychologists, and physicians for over a century. Damien Young has discovered the secret, and shares it with you in this inspiring, brilliant, and soon to be a worldwide phenomena of a product. These 7 hours can make a dramatic and profound impact on your life and your body.
In Damien Young's words:
"Every human being has a Subconscious Mind, and this powerful active force in our lives produce over 60,000 thoughts each day in the average person. Only approx. 10% of those thoughts we actually take notice of. The rest come and go, without much scrutinization on our parts. But it's in these 90% of unconscious thoughts that compel us to take 90% of our actions on a daily basis. It's in these 90% of our thoughts that compel us to eat when we're not hungry, to sit instead of stand, to eat food that's detrimental instead of nutritious, and to avoid exercise even when we know of its benefits. By targeting the source of these 90% of unconscious thoughts, and by changing the perceptions and the images associated with our bodies, food, and exercise in a way that makes it not only enjoyable, but rewarding, we can finally say with certainty that long term weight loss is not only possible, but inevitable."
