Yoplait Original 99% Fat Free Yogurt (Cherry Orchard) Review
There have been many Yoplait Reviews", but never of the Yoplait Original 99% Fat Free Yogurts. So naturally, when I received a few samples to try out, I set out to remedy this situation, starting first with the Yoplait Original 99% Fat Free Cherry Orchard Yogurt.

My first thought when I tasted a spoonful was, "Holy Cow, this yogurt is SOOO SWEET!" Thanks for taking out the fat Yoplait, and still leaving us with a creamy yogurt; and thanks for all the cherry which seemed to be in every spoonful. BUT Yoplait, PLEASE ease up on the sugar. It's way too sweet ... overwhelmingly so - I drank almost a gallon of water after consuming a 6 ounce container. Everything else about this cherry yogurt is on point, so again Yoplait, I implore you, get rid of the headache inducing sweetness, which will also lower the amount of calories - a win win situation, don't you think?!
Each 6 ounce container of Yoplait Original 99% Fat Free Cherry Orchard Yogurt provides 170 calories, 1.5 grams of total fat, 1 gram of which is saturated (2% and 5% of the daily value), 26 grams of sugars and 5 grams of protein. There is also 50% of the daily requirements for calcium and vitamin D.
The ingredients are, Cultured Pasteurized Grade A Low Fat Milk, Sugar, Cherries, Modified Corn Starch, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Nonfat Milk, Kosher Gelatin, Tricalcium Phosphate, Citric Acid, Colored with Beet Juice Concentrate, Pectin, Natural Flavor, Vitamin A Acetate, Vitamin D3.
As I mentioned before, I received samples of Yoplait Original 99% Fat Free Cherry Orchard Yogurt to review, but it's typically $0.75 for a 6 ounce container at my local grocery store. But this is not something I would buy - apart from being way too sweet, there's simply too much sugars and too many calories.
