Today was a good old fashioned Sensational Sunday. I woke up with a mission to feel a bit more organized before facing a new week.
It all started in this mess…
That basket of clothes has been there for days, and I’m not sure if you can see, but the kitchen counters are a mess!
Little Guy and I get right to work while The Husband and Baby sleep. After a little while we break for breakfast.
I had an omelet with onion, zucchini, spinach, ham and bacon bits.
Oh! And some watermelon. :)
Part of my goal was to organize some Little Guy’s projects and school work and put them in storage. We had fun reminiscing the last 2 years.
Once everything was boxed up it was snack time!
Finally the husband got up (baby is still sleeping at this time.) I put him right to work.
The baby joined us and had fun watching the husband fold laundry.
He was completely in awe.
The husband? Well, sometimes he gets annoyed at all my picture taking.
LMAO
The boys chatted a bit and then we decided to shower up and go for lunch. I totally forgot my phone so there are no mid-day pictures. :(
We ended up eating at Panera. I had the new lemon chicken orzo soup with a BBQ chicken salad. It was SO good! I wish I could show it to you.
Anyway, after lunch we shopped a bit and took Little Guy for a haircut. Look how cute he is!
Once we got home it was all about finishing the cleaning. I’m proud to say I accomplished my mission…
The house was organized and the boys were relaxing.
Soon it was time for dinner. I experimented with an eggplant dish..
and made pizza with Little Guy.
Then it was Bath and Bed for the boys. Mom had one last thing on her agenda.
Yup. That’s 7 MILES! I finished week 7 in my training. Just a few more weeks before the half. I’m excited and proud of how far I’ve come. Last week I missed a few workouts because of BlogHer but I got right back into my grove when I came back, only missing one strength training session this week.
Here I am after the run tonight.
I had a great day and that was an awesome way to end it. Now I need sleep!
Hope you had a great weekend!
