I LOVE the changes made by Lipton Iced Tea. Have you seen the Lipton 100% Natural iced Tea line, with the curvy shaped bottle? It's sweetened with a combination of sugar and stevia extract and when I spotted the Pomegranate Blueberry flavor in the supermarket the other day, I knew I had to try it pronto.

Lipton, you did good! The packaging is eye catching, the bottle shape is sexy and the taste is pretty darn good. Now, I really liked it, but I'm not going to tell you that this is bursting with distinct pomegranate and blueberry flavor. The natural flavors they use combine to provide a sweet fruity taste that's rather pleasant - not too sweet though and there is an underlying taste of lemon (or something like it). The tea flavor is not as prominent in this as in some other teas, and the characteristic nasty stevia taste is not there - am I the only one who really dislike beverages sweetened with only stevia?
Each 8 ounce serving of Lipton Pomegranate Blueberry 100% Natural Iced Tea provides 50 calories and 13 grams of sugars - that's 130 calories in a 20 ounce bottle and 33 grams of sugars. The ingredients are tea (water, tea extract from tea leaves), sugar, citric acid, natural flavor, reb A (purified stevia extract).
I purchased a bottle of this for $1.05 at the grocery store and would certainly buy this again. Of course, there's a lot of sugar in the entire bottle, so go easy. I drink a lot of water but there are days when I feel for something sweeter, and this is certainly a good way to go.
