It’s a more pictures than words kind of of night for me. I started off strong this morning and then my energy just slowly drained away. Now I’m procrastinating sleep when I shouldn’t just because I want to watch a little brainless TV. Not good. I know.
Anyway, this morning really did start off fabulous. How could it not with these two?
We got straight to work. Well at least I did. lol
I kid. The Little Guy actually was a great helper. We had a lot to do as last weeks laundry still needed to be folded. Bad, I know.
The cat simply watched from my office.
And that’s where she stayed the majority of the day. Bitch. lol
Soon it was time for breakfast. I made the Husband eggs and bacon (1 extra slice for me)
and I made some oatmeal.
What I made was something similar to Green Tea Oatmeal with Dried Fruit and Almonds but I used a peach tea bag and pecans. I’ll post it on GreenLiteBites if I get a minute tomorrow.
After breakfast the cleaning commenced. I even went as far as removing all the VHS tapes from our living rooms shelves to help with some of the clutter.
I was all business but I still found time to have some fun.
Little Guy and I finished up our latest Fun Fusion creations.
I also took a "snack." break. Today’s green smoothie was banana, an orange, spinach and a bit of kale.
Then it was back to work. Cleaning today was almost therapeutic.
I actually enjoyed it. Weird. I know.
Soon it was time for lunch. We settled on simple PB&J with a side of veggies.
After lunch had some one-on-one baby time.
We ended up taking a short nap on the couch while watching ET. It was nice.
Even though I napped, by 5PM I was completely exhausted. We ended up hitting KFC for dinner before heading to the grocery store. I had a grilled breast, baked beans and green beans.
When we got back it was bath times for the kids. We also put all the groceries and laundry away.
That took every last bit of energy.
Before bed we opened our traditional LEGO Minifigure.
Now I’m ready for bed but I got sucked into the new Game of Thorns series on HBO and I’m snacking on a pumpkin vitatop. I’m also sitting here stressing about the conference. I’ve accomplished a lot so far but there is still so much to do and this week will be challenging. It’s spring break. I’ll be home with both kids all day. I sort of wish I had no other responsibilities right now. Ugh.
