A day in the life of a misfit.

I’d say this is kind of a rehash—but so is my life.

While day-to-day life in Casa MizFit can be Groundhog’s Day-esque enough of you asked about it here I figured Id share.

I give you:

A Day in the Life of MizFit.

Immediately after waking I head here (yes it’s the crack of dawn. no I dont set an alarm. Im a firm believer in the notion if Im not up-at-crack & excited for the day I must need more sleep. Im always up-at-crack)

Once Ive grabbed that I head here and work for a couple of hours:

you can find me sitting on this core-working/back-saving chair:

In my office I also have an amazing mural to the left of my desk.  It frequently serves to spark my morning-creativity:

Next, when there’s 30 minutes or so left before Ren Man departs for the day, I cease working & head over to the cardio center for some exercise:

If there’s still time left before he departs I do a fitness routine, too.

Maybe some core work.

Or a few circuits of resistance band training with this in between sets:

(it’s hard to tell but those are high knees)

Then it’s time to turn my entire focus to this:

Sometimes we will start our day with her (fingerquote) school work (unFQ):

Or perhaps a PLAYout at the park:

(that’s the slide. it’s another hard-to-tell photo.)

At some point after that I’ll demand some rest:

In preparation for Barbie yoga:

Following Barbie time yoga class I frequently have a snack of this**:

An act which, a few weeks ago, provided us with materials to construct Barbie & Ken a new home:

And then, as you stay-at-home/work-at-home mamas know, the days usually take a turn for the desperate.

Sometimes we swing by a local toy store & play until the stares of the saleswomen get to be too much:

Other times we drop by & visit Ren Man at the office and overstay our welcome until the stares of the aforementioned R-Man get to be too much.

Soon the day begins to slow down a bit.

We might color for a while (according to the Tornado this is our family as represented by flowers):

Or have some chit-chatt’y girl-time:

Or pester Ren Man a bit more:

All too quickly the nighttimeroutineGLAM ensues (dinner, TornadoRebelling, bath, TornadoRebelling, books read, TornadoRebelling, repeat. repeat.) until she’s asleep.

And then, for this MizFit, it’s back here for a bit:

Until this guy comes home:

and we hang until bed.

The end.

**obviously my beloved Met-Rx shake is not all I consume during a 24 hour period.  That info, as dry & boring as it is, can be found here.
