If you check out our reviews of Glennys products, you'll realize that we clearly have a love affair going on with these chips! To me, they're the perfect snack to fulfill any crunchy craving; you can get them in sweet and savory flavors; and they contain lots of healthy fiber and protein. What's NOT to love about these guys?? My favorite is Glenny's Lightly Salted Soy Crisps, with Apple Cinnamon coming in at a close second. But I love discovering new flavors and new favorites, so I picked up Glenny's Onion and Garlic Soy Crisps recently for $1.09, to try them out.

Have you ever had onion and garlic chips before? I used to turn my nose up at this flavor before, but when I tried it the first time, I loved the combination. And Glenny's does an excellent job with this flavor for their soy crisps. The taste is pure deliciousness with the perfect amount of onion and garlic flavoring so that it's definitely up front and center, but certainly not too overpowering. They're light and crunchy, yet satisfying as well. Health benefits touted by the company: 23 mg of soy isoflavines, more soy protein than tofu or soy milk, as well as being a wheat- and gluten- free snack.
Each serving of 14 chips provides 70 calories, 1 gram of total fat (none saturated), 175 mg of sodium, 1.5 grams of fiber (4% of the daily value), 1 gram of sugar and 5 grams of protein.
sponsorThe ingredients include, low fat non-GMO soy flour, rice, sea salt, onion powder, garlic powder, rice flour, parsley flakes, mid oleic sunflower oil, natural dried vegetable powders (carrot, broccoli, parsley, spinach). This is a wonderful flavor - try it whether or not you're in the mood for onion and garlic, and let me know what you think. Does anyone else like "offbeat" flavored chips?! I also like Crispy Delites Red Onion Chips.
