I wanted a happy “before” pic. That’s why I made a dumb azz face when I posed for the camera. I was supposed to take this pic on Day 1 of Shakeology, but life got lazy busy, so this is how I look as of Day 18.
I’ve lost 4.2 pounds since Day 1 of my 90-Day Shakeology Experiment. I’m also heading into my 3rd workout of Jillian’s 30 Day Shred. I love the DVD and I’m excited for the results after my 30th workout is complete.
So this is me right now and here’s what you’re probably curious to wanna know. I’m sharing this with you for your own motivation and to keep myself accountable:
Age: 38-years-old (in Feb. 2011)Height: 5-foot-5Current weight: 168.6 poundsNumber of child-spawns: FOUR kids, dammit!More About My Weight
I haven’t stepped on the scale in about a year and I was a little shocked at the number. My weight is up, but there’s a serious silver lining that makes me not care what the bastard scale thinks…..
I LOVE my body anyway!
I went from 185 pounds down to 148 pounds, then settled into a comfortable 155 pounds long term before the weight creepage started that we’re talking about here.
My weight gain has been two-fold: A) I gained some fat slabs from that bitch azz pizza-eating bondage that gripped me in the summer of 2010. Thank God I’m no longer in that bondage. B) I’ve never stopped working out, so added muscle comes into play in my weight gain. How do I know this? Because my clothing size hasn’t changed. I’m still a size 6. If my weight gain were all fatty, I’d be busting out of my clothes into higher sizes.
My body transformation is obviously not complete, but I’m pleased with my progress and I’m happy with the way I look. I’m also lighter on my feet (from more energy) and I’m definitely stronger.
