Attune Dark Chocolate Probiotic Wellness Bar

Attune Dark Chocolate Probiotic Wellness BarI was in the grocery store early this morning (yes there was something I HAD to get for school) and stumbled on Attune Dark Chocolate Probiotic Wellness Bars. Attune says, "this powerhouse probiotic bar packed with 5 times the live active cultures of yogurt." At just 99 cents per bar, I decided to get one and save it for a little chocolate fix later.

The taste of this dark chocolate square is 'melt in your mouth sublime' in the way that only good, high-quality dark chocolate can. I sampled my two squares and was left quite satisfied - although if someone had offered me another one, I certainly wouldn't have turned it down. I can usually convince myself that chocolate is good for me regardless, but this makes it even easier.

The ingredients are dark chocolate coating (chocolate, sugar, cocoa powder, inulin, calcium carbonate, cocoa butter, soy lecithin (an emulsifier), vanilla), probiotic cultures (lactobacillus acidophilus, lactobacillus casei, bifidobacterium lactis).

There's a fair amount of fat, but hey, this is chocolate and this Dark Chocolate flavor has less calories than the Attune Cool Mint Chocolate Probiotic Wellness Bars. This vegan and gluten free bar is strictly for those days when the need for a sweet treat is too overwhelming to ignore. When that happens, it's better to reach for this all natural, probiotic filled treat made with 68% dark cocoa.
