Veggie Patch Chik'n Cutlets Review

Veggie Patch Meatless Chick'n Cutlets are a vegetarian alternative to breaded chicken patties. I received samples to review, and one evening I heated this up in the microwave and presented it to the kids cut up like chicken nuggets/ strips for as their after-school snack - and of course, I had it myself as well.

The kids often act as my taste testers and in this case - the resident chicken nugget expert (7 years old) LOVED this and couldn't get enough. And I have to say that I totally agree - Veggie Patch Chik'n Cutlets ROCKS hard! The patties are thin, and crunchy and there are no weird soy-ish flavors going on. The texture is not-exactly meat-like, but it's close enough that you won't miss real breaded "chicken" if you go with this.

Each cutlet provides 140 calories, 6 grams of total fat, 1 gram of which is saturated fat (9% and 4% of the daily value), 16% of the DV for sodium, 3 grams of fiber (10% of the DV), 1 gram of sugars and 10 grams of protein.

The ingredients list is all-natural and vegetarian. A 10 ounce box with 4 cutlets costs $4.99 at my local grocery store.

The breaded Veggie Patch Chik'n Cutlets is a good product to have on hand for those days when you need to make lunch or dinner quickly - I cut it up and used it as chicken strips for the kids, but I also added it to my salad to jazz it up - not to mention it would also be great in a veggie burger.
